TFAP Ep. 10 - Lydia Moor
Tuesday Jul 03, 2018
Tuesday Jul 03, 2018
Lydia Moor… You would never imagine the “POW” this kind and unassuming women can punch with. Lydia is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. OH! And does she have dreams! She is currently going back to school, after several years in the field, to receive a Doctorate of Nursing Practice and she now has a unique goal for what she wants to do with it.
Lydia shares with us plenty of the technical side of the nursing field, but also leads us into what her story has looked like. Going through some difficult trauma, she decided to use that frustrating time to face and understand herself and her purpose. She now feels focused and is enjoying her new perspective on life.
We have heard from quite a few people in the more traditional creative realm, and now we are excited to share Lydia’s articulate passions with you. Hope you are encouraged by her journey into what makes her feel alive!
Thank you,
Sherah, David and TFAP Team

TFAP Ep. 8 - Joseph Pensak
Tuesday Jun 19, 2018
Tuesday Jun 19, 2018
“I like you just the way you are.” - Mr. Rogers
Have you ever have had a need and wished that there were people who understood and were able to come alongside you and give you support? As a creative person especially, there are often times when you have looked around and thought “how do I really get on my feet and do this?!?”. Well, if you lived in Vermont than you would need to look no further than Burlington’s New City Galerie, where Joseph Pensak is the founder and curator. Joseph has found a way to realistically support up-and-coming artists in his community. Through a residency program, the gallery brings local artists into this encouraging environment.
How does Joseph know what artists really need? Because he is one himself. He has recently been able to come back to his love of music, and has written and is recording his second album through his alias Hallowell. He has also listened to those in his community, reaching out for a year asking what people were looking for, before starting the program. So here you have a man who is unique in how he has decided to give back to the world around him. And the stories he has… they are worth the listen!
Hope you enjoy.

TFAP Ep. 7 - Adam Jackson
Tuesday Jun 12, 2018
Tuesday Jun 12, 2018
Quote: "I create art because it makes me feel alive. It lets me reach out and explore the metaphysical. When people see my work, I hope that it brings them more to life, animating their intellect and imagination. I find inspiration from all that surrounds me. Fashion, pop culture, and nature play a huge role in my creative process."
Creative, driven, passionate and not afraid to speak his mind! We introduce Tacoma artist Adam Jackson. He has recently decided to jump out “on his own” as a business owner, but would be the first to say that he couldn’t do it without the support of his family.
He talks about his ambition and working hard for what he loves to do. He may have always had an ability to be artistic but he had to make the decision to work hard at it in order to be successful. For those who feel that they are naturally gifted but aren't sure how to take the leap, join us as we go through Adam’s inspiring thought process.
Thank you for listening, we hope you are encouraged to live a life of feeling fully alive!

Tuesday May 29, 2018
Tuesday May 29, 2018
Do you believe in dreams come true? Well, here at T.F.A.P. we do… and so does our inspiring guest Dean Burke. As the Executive Director of Tacoma South Sound Sports Commision, he is an advade stand up paddle board athlete (SUP) and PNW outdoor/sea advocate. His passion for the water is evident through his beautiful photos, just check out his Tacoma and the Sea Insta!
Honestly, there are so many complimentary things I could say about Dean… but he’s not the kind of guy to make himself the focus, it’s all about the love in his story and you can tell. You see life is both more painful and intense than you could ever imagine, as many of you know. And when a dream becomes reality it is often when you least expect it. But the power and beauty that comes in those moments, often far exceed the difficult.
So if you are looking for some hope today, listen in to Dean’s amazing story… Thank you again for checking out what we are up to at T.F.A.P.! We are so grateful for your support.

Show Notes:
Welcome to our 2nd podcast! We are so grateful you have joined us. Today co hosts David and Sherah are going to continue to talk about our extravagant name, a little of who we are and why we want to talk about what makes you feel fully alive.
David is the creator of the concept The Forgotten Art Project(TFAP) and has has been pursuing what makes him feel alive as a husband, dad, coach and outdoor adventurer. He was first introduced to this idea from one of his mentors, over 10 years ago, and in one way or another has been dwelling on how to explore and encourage others to better understand what this means.
He is also a musician and about three years ago he re discovered his Forgotten Art and wrote an entire album titled “Themes”. ( https://www.theforgottenartproject.com/music ) He has been diving into this adventure further through videos and posting them on YouTube but soon realized that while this is an important endeavor, it was a challenge to make the time commitment with an already full life. So with the encouragement of a friend decided to start a podcast as a more realistic outlet.
This is when TFAP team formed! Sherah, Justin and Wynter came onboard, bringing each of their own gifts and talents, and they are all working together to make this dream come true.
Wynter is a wife, mom, entrepreneur, and social media talent. Flexing her muscles by diving into the project full force, she is also the team sounding board. She follows through with our Instagram and Facebook pages, as well as takes the lead in our Facebook group where we are able to continue the conversations that we start on the show.
Justin is a Husband, Musician, Outdoor Enthusiast and Audio/visual/tech pro. Justin knows how to make anything work better, sound better and be better. He brings his vast experience to our productions and is an invaluable asset to the team.
That leaves Sherah. Wife, mom and co host, she is excited to be diving into what makes her feel fully alive, getting to know people! As the contact for interviewees, she has been able to stretch her skills as an extrovert, and looks forward to making a connection with all of you.
Thank you again for starting this journey with us. We hope to encourage you to ask yourself “What Makes You Feel Alive?” and to pursue better understanding what that means for you. We believe that when someone is being the most themselves, they are able to live a more full life and make a greater impact on their community around them. And if you are already pursuing this, let us know, we would love to hear from you!
We are looking forward to the journey… David, Sherah, Justin and Wynter
